What a find! You can still buy Mason Jars at Michaels for $1.50 each. I didn't know they still made these old-fashioned Kerr jars. They are perfect for storage in your kitchen or to use a vase for gerber daisies. If you were my mom, you would still use them for canning tomatoes!

ahh, yes, they are brilliant. I was just at Anthropologie and there was an a bunch of jars lined with green paint on the inside so they were chalky green, with a light bulb inside suspended from a cord, so they glowed, it was killer. Thought you might like that!
